The Wheeler Mansion was built by John Wilson Wheeler and his wife, Almira, in 1903 as the largest residence in Central MA at the time. Standing at 3 stories and just under 15000 sq ft, it remains the most significant landmark in the Town of Orange. This classic revival home was designed with the best materials and craftsmanship of its time. Detailed crown molding, a grand staircase, hand-carved woodwork, ornate fireplaces, and giant columns flanking the front entrance make an impressive backdrop for any event.

Since 2020, we have been restoring the mansion and updating the grounds with an 800-arborvitae hedge maze and a wrought-iron gazebo in the center of the star in the Garden of the Eastern Star, an homage to the Ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star.

We are a female owned and operated new venue with a goal to provide an intimate location for micro weddings and events of all types. We are “ALL ARE WELCOME HERE” oriented, and our focus is to help craft a unique and memorable experience with outstanding service and opulent surroundings.
